Car Seats
Government legislation from 2006 instructs that all children under 135cms (4ft 5ins) must use a suitable car seat. At Babyland we stock a huge range of seats for every child from rear-facing seats for newborns to "booster" seats for older children.
Seats are commonly divided by age, 0-9 months, 9 months to 4 years and 4-12 years, however some seats, like the Graco Logico L RallySport, will cover a wide range from 3-12years (15-36kg) so it can grow with your child saving you costly upgrades. We stock many makes of car seats, but amongst our preferred manufacturers we list Britax, MAXI-COSI, and MAMAS and PAPAS.
There are two main fixing systems available. 'ISO-Fix' uses dedicated fixing points and 'Regular' uses the adult seatbelt to secure the seat.
